Beautiful jasper and amethyst stones, 10mm and 9mm, on reinforced elastic.

"Sound of the Waves" in Japanese. References the seafoam blue-white jasper meeting purple twilight amethyst.

Blue spot jasper forms where ancient seabeds compressed over millions of years, trapping copper and iron minerals that bloom as blue clouds within chalcedony. Also called aqua terra jasper, these beads carry the memory of prehistoric oceans. The Japanese coast and Scottish Highlands both emerged from similar tectonic upheaval - different oceans, same geological violence.

Amethyst gets its purple from iron impurities and natural radiation within the crystal structure. The Greeks believed it prevented intoxication (the name derives from a-methystos, "not drunk"). Scottish amethyst was mined in the Cairngorms until the Victorian era, prized for its deep colour.

This pairing captures coastal transition zones - where sea meets shore, where blue water darkens to purple depths. The translucent jasper beads shift between grey-white and blue depending on light angle, while amethyst holds its colour constant. It's the visual equivalent of standing on Loch Lomond at dusk.

The irregular blue inclusions in each jasper bead mean no two are alike. Some show intense blue bursts, others subtle wisps.

Strung on reinforced elastic cord. Each amethyst bead is approximately 9mm, and the jasper beads are 10mm in diameter.

Natural stone characteristics: Blue inclusions vary dramatically across beads. Purple amethyst depth varies from pale lilac to deep violet. Your bracelet is unique.

Size Guide

How to Measure Your Wrist

See our size guide here.

Method 1: Using a tape measure

  1. Wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone (where you'd naturally wear a bracelet)
  2. Note the measurement in centimetres
  3. This is your wrist circumference

Method 2: Using a string or paper

  1. Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your wrist
  2. Mark where it overlaps
  3. Lay it flat and measure with a ruler
  4. This is your wrist circumference

Top tip: Measure at the end of the day when your wrist is slightly larger due to natural swelling.

Care Instructions

Kiseki bracelets are made using natural stone beads, each with its own texture and variation.

To maintain their finish, avoid exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals. Remove before bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

Store flat in a dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight.

Subtle changes over time are natural and reflect the character of the stones. With considered care, your bracelet will continue to look refined and well-worn.

Amber Morning - Natural Rutilated Quartz Bracelet

Calm Silence - Clear Faceted Quartz Bracelet

Product Description:
Product Description:

Handmade in Glasgow, Scotland.

Warm light caught in motion, with 7mm or 8mm beads, on a 16cm circumference bracelet.

Stone and colour
Amber Morning is made from natural rutilated quartz. Clear quartz beads are threaded with fine golden, copper, and rust-coloured inclusions that run through each stone like strands of light. The tones range from soft amber to warm honey, pale smoke, and flashes of burnt orange, giving each bracelet its own quiet variation.

Why we chose it
In Japanese design, beauty often derives from a material's inherent qualities rather than from external additions. The internal threads of rutilated quartz reflect that philosophy, subtle and structural rather than decorative. From a Scottish perspective, the colours echo early sunlight breaking through cloud, low winter light, and the warmth that cuts through a cold morning. Amber Morning sits perfectly within the Kiseki balance of restraint and character.

How to wear it
Amber Morning works well as a standalone piece, especially against neutral clothing. It pairs naturally with knitwear, denim, wool coats, and relaxed tailoring. The clear base keeps it light, while the warm inclusions add depth, making it easy to layer with darker stones or stainless steel pieces if desired.

When to wear it
Designed for everyday wear, Amber Morning feels particularly right in autumn and winter but transitions easily into spring. It suits workdays, travel, and evenings where you want something understated but quietly distinctive.

Part of the Kiseki line
Amber Morning represents warmth and contrast within the Kiseki collection. A piece that brings together Japanese material honesty and the shifting light of the Scottish landscape, designed to be worn often and appreciated over time.

Product Description:

Handmade in Glasgow, Scotland.

Stillness, made visible. 8mm or 9mm beads, on a 16cm circumference bracelet.

Stone and colour
Calm Silence is made from clear quartz, cut into softly faceted beads that catch and scatter light rather than reflect it sharply. The stone is colourless to milky-clear, with subtle internal textures and natural variations that add depth without distraction. The overall effect is clean, quiet, and restrained.

The 8mm bead version features 6mm and 8 mm-sized alternation stones.

The 9mm version has 9mm and 7mm alternation stones.

Why we chose it
In Japanese aesthetics, space and absence are as important as form. Calm Silence reflects that idea through clarity and restraint. From a Scottish perspective, it mirrors moments of stillness in the landscape, frozen lochs, early mist, and the pause before weather turns. It embodies the Kiseki balance of calm design and everyday practicality.

How to wear it
Calm Silence works effortlessly with almost anything. It pairs well with monochrome outfits, soft knits, tailoring, and minimal streetwear. Worn alone, it feels intentional and composed. Layered with darker stones, it brings contrast and light without overpowering the stack.

When to wear it
Designed for daily wear, Calm Silence suits workdays, travel, and quieter moments. It feels especially fitting in winter and early spring, but its neutrality makes it a year-round piece.

Part of the Kiseki line
Calm Silence represents clarity within the Kiseki collection. A bracelet that strips back excess and focuses on material, light, and balance, bridging Japanese minimalism with the quiet strength of the Scottish landscape.
